If your garden that is less 1000m² (approx 3 tennis courts) and you are looking for a small, compact, technologically advanced, robot lawn mower at a reasonable price then the Ambrogio Twenty Elite is the mower for you!
The Twenty Elite is small (measuring just 42 cm long), lightweight (just 7kg) and very quiet due to it’s brushless motor.
Despite it’s size, it can mow up to 1000m² (approx 3 tennis courts) and can cater for a garden with up to 4 separate areas. It’s streets ahead of the competition and will make you the envy of your neighbours.
Worried about security? In addition to the benefits of it’s smaller brother (the Twenty Deluxe), it also offers the ability to track the mower even from another country.
Away from home a lot? You can control the Twenty from anywhere in the world over the internet.
Twenty Deluxe (700 m²)
Twenty Elite S+ (1300 m²)
We were so impressed by the Twenty Elite that we installed one in our front garden. Follow us through the process in the our YouTube videos below…by the way – sorry about the footware!
If you have a garden with well defined edges, then the new Twenty ZR may be worth a look – it does not need a perimeter wire installation.
The Ambrogio Twenty Elite was released in 2020 and provides the build quality that you would expect from an Ambrogio product at a price which matches other mowers with a lower specification.
It offers latest technology (GPS, internet connectivity, security alerts) and you can use the Amico tag to ensure that it does not disturb your pet.
If you have a garden up to 1000 m² and are looking for the latest technology then the Twenty Elite is for you.
If your garden is a bit larger then consider its all new big brother the Ambrogio Twenty Elite S+.
If your garden is a bit smaller (up to 700 m²), then consider the Twenty Deluxe, although it does not offer all the technology of the Twenty Elite, it compares favourably with the competition.
Compared to the competition
We believe that the Twenty Elite compares favourably with the competition, so, how does it compare to the Husqvarna Automower 310 which also will mow 1000 m²?
The functionality of both machines is very similar:
- Both offer GPS, internet connectivity and a good quality build (although we would argue the Ambrogio’s are superior – look at the comparison)
- Both machines come from manufacturers that have been making robots for over 20 years
- Both offer 2 years warranty
But one area where the Twenty Elite wins out over Husqvarna 310 is the time it takes to cover your lawn – based on the Husqvarna manual, the capacity of the 310 is 56 m²/h i.e. the mower should be set to run 18 hours a day for a 1000 m² lawn. In comparison, the Twenty Elite should be set to run 11 hours a day for the same area. This is mainly due to the increased cutting time per charge (120 vs 70 mins) and the mower software which ensures that it mows the lawn in the most efficient manner.
