The Installation Process
Step 1: Measure Your Lawn & Plan the Layout
Use our Measure My Lawn tool to calculate the length of perimeter cable you’ll need.
Add extra cable for unexpected diversions and to loop around obstacles like flower beds, trees, and roots.
Step 2: Gather the Necessary Tools
Watch our video on essential tools to ensure you have everything needed for a smooth installation.
Tools may include a mallet, wire pegs, connectors, and a boundary wire tester.
Step 3: Learn from the Experts

Step 4: Install the Boundary Wire
Lay the perimeter wire according to your planned layout, keeping a consistent distance from obstacles.
Secure the wire with pegs and make sure it’s flat against the ground to prevent tripping hazards.

Step 5: Set Up Your Robot Mower
Place your charging station in a flat, accessible area with power access.
Connect the boundary wire to the station and test the signal.
Follow your mower’s instructions for first-time calibration.
