The Robot Mower Fertilisers

We are proud to offer a range of lawn fertilisers specifically tailored for use with robot mowers.

These are not white-label products with our name on them. We’ve worked closely with a formulation team to develop products that are ideally suited to the way robot mowers operate.

Why a specific formulation?

Treatments with long-lasting effects often rely on plastic coatings. Not only do these polymer chains remain in the soil indefinitely, but the coatings can also be compromised by the frequent cutting pattern of robot mowers. This can cause the extended release to activate prematurely.

To address this, we removed the need for plastic coatings and instead formulated a prolonged release using an alternative technique.

Robot mowers require less fertilisation

Due to the mulching action of robot mowers, some of the lawn’s nutritional needs are already met. Over-fertilising is not only harmful to the environment and a waste of money, but it can also lead to other issues such as thatch buildup. Our formulations take this into account by releasing nitrogen at a more controlled rate than most conventional lawn fertilisers. The result is a lawn that improves steadily and consistently, delivering greater long-term results.

Sustainable packaging

Our products are packaged in tubs rather than plastic bags, making them easier to store.

We also reuse the tubs. A credit is issued for each tub that is returned or collected—so please don’t throw them away.

Whilst not everyone is environmentally focused, it’s hard to argue against better environmental outcomes when they also coincide with better results. It’s simply a smarter choice.

A final note

All fertilisers have an environmental impact, given the resources required to produce them. It’s worth taking an impartial look at how best to achieve your desired lawn quality with the most efficient use of additional inputs. This might mean spoon-feeding precise amounts based on real-time needs or using well-formulated products with extended-release mechanisms. By contrast, using cheap, fast-acting products that leach chemicals into the environment is extremely poor practice—especially in 2025.
